My Book List
by George Battey
Dear Friends,
If you had life to live over again, what books would you read again – knowing what you know now? What books have been the most enjoyable, the most helpful and the most influential to you? If your house were burning down and you could only save a few books, which ones would you snatch from the fire? If the government out-lawed Christianity and you had to hide a few precious books which were the most valuable to you, which ones would you hide? My list is below. I do not regret buying these books nor taking the time to read them.

Okay … I’ve not read every word of Harold Fowler on Matthew, nor every word of James McKnight’s commentary. Yet I find myself going to these works over and over and rarely am I disappointed. Even if I don’t agree, they cause me to stop and ponder – a good thing. Okay … three of them are DVDs. They’re worth watching though, so I included them.
I would be interested in seeing your list. If and when you have the time, share your list with me.
Best regards,
George Battey
