Though repetitive in content, this book offers great insight into the differences between the Old and New Covenants, who were/are bound by the covenants, and the alien sinner's relationship to the covenants.  There is discussion of Moral Law (Natural Law) and what is expected of alien sinners.  Application is drawn from the material in relation to specific doctrinal issues including marriage and divorce.  This work also includes Bale's review of Thomas B. Warren's book "Keeping the Lock in Wedlock."  A very helpful book in understanding the content and extent of the New Covenant that governs the lives of Christians today.
