This set covers the entire span of the New Testament. Each book volume is written by a different author, but all the volumes are styled the same. At the beginning of each section of Scripture, the author states the section of Scripture that is under consideration, proceeds to give his own paraphrase of the passage, asks a number of questions to consider as you study the texts, and then goes on to give in depth commentary on the passage.

The Gospel of Luke and the Corinthians letters were each done twice - once by a man named T. R. Applebury and once by Paul T. Butler. This set has Applebury on Luke and Corinthians.

Fowler's 4 volumes on Matthew alone averages $100 - and represents the elite work on the first gospel.

Set has solid bindings and clean texts.  Price includes the cost of shipping.
