Attention Young Mothers, Parents, and Grandparents:
Mrs. Lee's Stories about Jesus and Stories About God's First People have recently been reprinted and we are now carrying them.
These books do a wonderful job retelling wonderful stories of the Bible in a way young children can understand. At the end of each story, a list of about ten questions are provided for the child to answer. These stories are a wonderful way to introduce your child/grandchild to the stories of Christ and the Children of Israel.
Both of these books represent some of my earlier childhood memories as I would sit with my mother or father, listen to them read one of the stories, and then answer the questions that followed. When I was finally able to read for myself, my parents would have me sit down each day after school and I would again read through a chapter and answer the questions.
Each book contains 52 stories along with 10 questions per story.
Every child is different and learns at a different rate, but I would recommend these books for kids around the ages of 5-8.
